Plot
After losing his husband after 17 years of marriage, Michael faces the nightmare of being a 40-year-old gay single man in New York.
About the Series
Fun, not “crazy”. Mismatched is a series that wants to be more sophisticated than fun and that is more like sex in new york what to How I Met Your Mother. It has characters, funny situations… all with the city of the United States as a backdrop and Manhattan to the “good people” as protagonists.
Obviously (nobody will deny it) it is a series prepared for its great protagonist, Neil Patrick Harris, who has always been a versatile actor who, without making the leap to a great movie, is a “series animal” who certainly consumes with his personality. everything he touches (he did it with Barney Stinson, who at first was just “the funny guy” to become the protagonist).
No debauchery, no forcing situations, it is a series that analyzes and knows how to stop and pretend to dress up as a comedy to show us the characters beyond the comic situations.
It has a hook if you want a light comedy and a rather subtle approach that is tinged with sophistication.
Good production and the main character, in his line.

Likeable, happy and funny, he has been everything on television since he debuted as a child as Doctor Howser in the series Doogie Howser.
We have recently seen him play the “bad guy” in Matrix Resurrections (2021) and in the Netflix series, A Series of Unfortunate Events (2017–2019).
He sings, dances and is a great actor who has managed to win everyone over with his sympathy.
