Marilyn Monroe disappeared 60 years ago, in the middle of August 1962. Many producers found that she did not have the makings of a star, that she was not photogenic, that she was not Didn’t have the looks of a movie star. She proved the opposite with her voice, which some compared to the swing of the best jazz singers.
