Loir-et-Cher: the Pig Festival is back in Tréhet

The essential pig party of Trehet (Vallée de Ronsard) will return this year, Saturday July 23, 2022. Many people missed it!

Celebration of conviviality, it will bring together, as usual, several thousand people in this small village of north of the department of Loir-et-Cher.

A Pig Screaming Contest

In the morning, there will be a flea market and one gourmet market without forgetting the competition eaters of sausages (12 p.m.) which we hope to see the appointed champions again.

In the afternoon, the specialists will try to win the competition for the throw of the tail of pig (2 p.m.) or that of pig’s cry (8 p.m.).

A bandaged will strike its festive notes around 5 p.m., some time before aperitif time.

Denis Declerck, on the podium of the county council, will put all his famous verve to liven up the whole event: this one-man orchestra is a real show all by himself.

The program

the friday july 22, meet at the “Lotto of the 3 Little Pigs” from 8 p.m. Purchase vouchers and numerous prizes will be up for grabs; players will have a refreshment bar and fast food at their disposal to catch their breath and recover from their emotions.

the July 23 meal will be hosted by Richard Solti and his dancers.

Two shows will be offered to the public:

• ” The allegory of the frog », an ambulatory and theatrical show on Saturday July 23 at 8 p.m.: the heroes will be astronauts which will seem evolve in weightlessnessenough to leave the spectators totally dumbfounded!

• ” Spark », Saturday July 23 at 10 p.m.: this number is presented as a travel in time around arts of fire. The spectacular scenes will follow one another mixing flames, embers, pyrotechnics, incandescence and light. A real feast for the eyes and ears! A dancing parties, hosted by Richard Solti. A big fireworks display will bring the festivities to a close.
