The film will be released on October 6.
One of the most ambitious projects that Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios are preparing is ‘Kraven, the Hunter’, a film about Spider-Man’s adversary that will hit theaters on October 6. The character is played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who had to undergo an extensive training to adapt to the role.
The official trailer for the film he directs has finally been released JC Chandor and promises to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year. Under the motto “villains are not born, they are made”, the plot will take us into what led Sergei Kravinoff to become one of the most powerful supervillains in the Spider-Man universe.
The English actor will star alongside Ariana DeBose, who plays Calypso, acclaimed actor Russell Crowe, Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola and Levin Miller, who plays a young Sergei.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson is no stranger to superhero movies. In the past he played Dave Lizewski in the blockbuster ‘Kick-Ass’ movies, and in 2015 he played Quicksilver in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. With Kraven, the Taylor-Johnson Hunter has been hard at work preparing to deliver a masterful performance.

“You approach it from another angle, which for me is from back to front. It’s like you approach it from the physical aspect, because that’s what you can see in a comic. You see that and then you start to go back and go deeper, and you say, ‘This is where it originates from, then it has this relationship and that relationship.’ You just hope that you are going to portray something that you can bring to life. Again, there’s room for interpretation and you want to be able to bring something back and let it jump off the page.” said the 33-year-old actor in an interview about his character and how he delved into the personality of the Marvel villain.
