Christian Siriano proudly displayed his collection of prt – porter Spring-Summer 2022 at the opening of New York Fashion Week on Tuesday night. And the stars, including Katie Holmes and Alicia Silverstone, flocked to get a front row seat in the 35-year-old designer’s show at the Gotham Hall.
Holmes, 42, put aside his classic jeans and T-shirt uniform to dare with a most elegant and classic look: a black suit with a checkerboard pattern asymmetrical complemented by very minimal accessories, which, like her makeup and her hair, shone with your simplicity.
Holmes Wear the suit with the jacket slightly adjusted, without any blouse or top underneath. The pants, meanwhile, have a flared finish. On a black background, a silver-colored grid is drawn all over the suit. The design is part of the autumn-winter 2020 collection by Christian Siriano and is particularly striking for the lurex crocodile effect it presents.
After posing several times with Syrian behind the scenes, Holmes walked out onto the main floor and sat next to Silverstone and the star of Broadway Kristin Chenoweth.
The actress has also been seen in the presentation of Kate Spade whose fall collection 2021 it’s an ode to New York City – the event even had a mini apple orchard, a nod to the Big Apple.
For the occasion, the actress opted for a satin blue midi dress. With a round neck and sleeveless, and very light, it is a very successful choice for the high temperatures that surround New York. To complement the look, and with comfort as the flag, Holmes has put on some low heels from leopard print from Kate Spade to give the look that contrasting touch.
