The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ second annual gala was full of bold fashion statements and served as the ultimate night out for Hollywood’s most influential couples.
The event presented by Rolex raised $10 million for the arts, sciences and film artists.
The four honorees were Miky Lee, Sir Steve McQueen, Julia Roberts and Tilda Swinton, with the event co-chaired by Halle Berry, Lupita Nyong’o, Ryan Murphy and Jason Blum.
The stars really aligned on Saturday, providing some incredible photo opportunities.
A romantic date
After celebrating their eighth wedding anniversary last month, Amal and George Clooney showed up at the gala to support their dear friend Roberts. George presented the first-ever Academy Museum Gala Icon Award to his “Ticket to Paradise” co-star. Amal wore a stunning multi-colored green dress by Del Core.
Newlyweds Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham were matched in black, a recurring theme for the couples at the event.
Leslie Mann and Judd Apatow were also in black. Apatow’s classic tuxedo pairs well with his wife’s cutout number.
Spike and Tonya Lewis Lee added some color to their predominantly black look – the director’s outfit being accented with red trim and buttons, topped off his look with white frames to match the white of his wife’s dress.
New mum and dad of two young girls, Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers and Sophie Turner of “Game of Thrones” wore very daring but chic ensembles.
