Jessica Chastain berates body-shamers.

The ‘Eyes of Tammy Faye’ actress is the latest celeb to back Florence Pugh, who received a flurry of shameful comments after she wore a sheer dress to the Valentino Haute Couture show over the weekend.

Chastain reposted a photo Pugh shared of herself in the hot pink number, baring nipples, and wrote: “Why is it so menacing for some men to realize that women can love our bodies without your permission ?”

The 45-year-old Oscar winner added: “We don’t belong to you.”

Pugh, 26, defended her outfit choice on Instagram on Sunday.

“Listen, I knew when I wore this amazing Valentino dress that there would be no way there wouldn’t be comments on it. Whether negative or positive, we all knew what we were doing. I was thrilled to wear it, not a wink from me was nervous,” she began her caption.

The ‘Midsommar’ star went on to remark “how easy it is for men to totally destroy a woman’s body, publicly, proudly, for everyone to see”, adding that it is “disturbing to see “how vulgar they can be” when it comes to commenting on other people’s appearances.

“Many of you wanted to let me know aggressively how disappointed you were with my ‘small boobs’, or how embarrassed I should be to have such a ‘flat chest’. I have lived a long time in my body. I am fully aware of my chest size and am not afraid of it,” Pugh wrote.

“What is more worrying is…. Why are you so afraid of boobs? she asked. “What. East. So. Creepy.

“Look at you guys. Then take a look at your friends and jump in when it’s time to jump in. When the boys are out of place, have a word,” the Netflix idol urged her followers.

“The weird thing about misogyny is that men listen to other men, so do your part, because [sic] the next few years in particular will be a great time to listen and take some responsibility, for the good of all.
