CINEMA – American actor Jesse Eisenberg, whose film When You Finish Saving The World was screened this Sunday, September 4 at the Deauville American Film Festival, which runs until September 11, inaugurated the beach cabin in his name shortly before.

Under a blazing sun, the headliner of The Social Networkall smiles, took the time to sign a few autographs and pose in front of the board in her name.

He joins John Travolta, Sean Connery or Clint Eastwood

He thus joins John Travolta, Sean Connery or Clint Eastwood, who also have their boards.

“As you can probably tell from my physique and skin tone, I very rarely go to the beach so that’s a wonderful reason to come to the beach now”he joked to AFP.

“It’s amazing to me that there is a city in France that celebrates American cinema because, as an American, we think of France as the pinnacle and so I feel very honored to be welcomed and let my film be shown”he added.

Known for his portrayal of Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, in The Social Network (2010), Jesse Eisenberg is equally at home in blockbusters like zombieland than in more intimate films like Vivarium.

When You Finish Saving The Worldhis first film, was also presented, out of competition, at the Cannes Film Festival last May.
