PEOPLE – Second wedding in less than a month for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. Lovers celebrated, this Saturday, August 20, their wedding in the sumptuous residence of the star of Will Hunting18 years after the end of their first relationship.
The couple had already married in mid-July in Las Vegas and had honeymooned in Paris in Julywith an unexpected escapade in a Micromania store in the capital. But this Saturday, the lovebirds decided to celebrate their union surrounded by their loved ones on the 35-hectare estate of Ben Affleck in the state of Georgia. Among the celebrities present during the festivities, according to the magazine People : Matt Damon, longtime friend of Affleck, and director Kevin Smith.
The guests were all dressed in white and JLo wore a dress Ralph Lauren made in Italy, according to FoxNews. It is estimated at 400,000 dollars (about 398,000 euros), reports The Daily Mail.
The three children that Ben Affleck had with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner were also present at the ceremony, as well as Jennifer Lopez’s twins from her union with singer Marc Anthony. The actor’s brother, Casey Affleck (Manchester by the Sea, Ocean’s Eleven), could not attend the ceremony due to “parental obligations”. According Tea Daily Email, George Clooney, Jane FondaRenée Zellweger and Jimmy Kimmel were expected for the party that followed the ceremony.
Three days of festivities
The couple had planned three days of festivities, including a rehearsal dinner, the wedding, a barbecue and a picnic. Fireworks were also set off that night. The one who is also a businesswoman, with a line of cosmetics and perfumes bearing her name, announced in April her engagement with the actor in a very short video. Visibly moved, she was seen admiring a ring set with a green stone.
