The “lack of chemistry” between “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” star Jason Mamoa and Amber Heard has resulted in his role being cut in the upcoming film, Heard’s rep claimed Friday.

Heard’s agent, Jessica Kovacevic, practically testified in the Johnny Depp v. Amber Heard trial on Friday, saying she believes the negative light on Heard, due to ongoing conflicts with Depp, had a huge impact on his role.

Depp’s ex-wife was first cast in the movie ‘Justice League’ in 2017, then made her debut in the ‘Aquaman’ franchise as Mera the following year. Heard’s rep testified that the star was tapped to earn $2 million on the sequel, which has already wrapped filming and is set to hit theaters in March 2023.

Kovacevic continued his testimony, saying the reason Warner Bros. had reduced the role of Heard was due to the “lack of chemistry between her and Jason”. She went on to say that Heard heard the news of the reduced role while she was reading the script.

Asked about Heard’s injured career, his agent replied: “In my experience…Your career takes a turn after something like this. She was very well received in the movie at the time, everyone was happy with her at the time, there Then to have a complete downturn after that and then to coincide that with constant tweets and negativity about him I have no physical evidence, but that is the only logical conclusion I draw. “

Kovacevic added that due to bad press, Heard lost a role with Amazon that was in the works. She also claimed that to her knowledge, there were no “performance issues raised” against Heard in the first “Aquaman” movie and instead.

During Heard’s testimony, she claimed that after Depp called her domestic violence allegations a “hoax,” “communication broke down” between the actress and Warner Bros.

“I fought very hard to stay in the film. They didn’t want to include me in the film,” Heard said.

“I was given a script, then new versions of the script that had removed action scenes, which depicted my character and another character – without giving away any spoilers – two characters fighting each other. another, and they basically took a group out of my role. They just removed a group,” she said.

Depp is suing Heard for $50 million in Fairfax County Circuit Court, Virginia, for calling herself a victim of domestic violence in a 2018 op-ed published in The Washington Post.

He said the piece, which did not identify him by name, ruined his reputation and his career. Heard is counter-suing for $100 million, accusing Depp and his attorney of defaming her by calling her allegations a “hoax.”
