The show will feature 17 dragons in total, surrounding Considine on a project he never thought he would be involved in.
No one knew of the tremendous success that game of thrones would be, and the actor who plays King Viserys Targaryen was just happy to once again have the opportunity to join the world of George RR Martin during the casting. Considine would miss out on one of the greatest television shows of all time, spanning eight seasons and racking up 164 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, winning 59. However, the actor wouldn’t miss a second chance at fantasy greatness. when he was offered his role in Dragon House.

Paddy Considine says King Viserys is based on his mother
Dragon House will see House Targaryen at the height of its power and include the fall of the long-ruling dynasty. Considine told The Sunday Times that his vision for King Viserys was inspired by his mother, who struggled with diabetes. Watching the decline of someone he respected and loved while seeing her maintain her kindness informed his portrayal of King Targaryen.
“If anything, Viserys was based on my mother. She was the most powerful woman I’ve known for a long time. Until she neglects herself. At the end of her life, my mother was diabetic. I adored my mother. But her illness has become her comfort zone. It was tragic to see this decline and I put that – plus his kindness and love – into Viserys.
Considine will definitely deliver a powerful performance when Dragon House raw. Fans can only hope for the final spin-off series based on George RR Martin Fire & Blood will be as well designed as game of thrones.
