Henry Cavill Reveals The Hardest Scene Of His Career – Nifey

One of Henry CavillThe funniest roles are certainly those of Millie Bobby BrownSherlock Holmes’ brother in the Enola Holmes franchise. The film series is known for death-defying stunts performed mostly by the lead actor Tom Cruisebut sometimes his peers join him. Cavill spoke at length about the difficult but rewarding scene he filmed:

“[E]even though it’s not a single shot, it’s a sequence, and i love this sequence and i would definitely do it again, but physically the most enduring […] was a “Mission: Impossible” helicopter sequence. It was so extremely cold, literally over the Southern Alps in winter, with the doors open on a helicopter. I put my face into the wind and I shoot blanks, with all kinds of stuff coming back at me, and I do it over and over and over. Completely deaf, just waiting for the pilot to shout something inaudible and do that [gesture], which means we’re rolling. So I had to keep acting with my head out the window until I guess they had stopped shooting. So I was watching either Tom [Cruise]the helicopter in front or behind, and also looking at the camera ship, to see when the camera ship has moved away and done its own thing. I was like, “Okay, I think that means I can sit down now.” I’m going to do this for 40 minutes, then land, then sit by a little Red Rad heater, warm up my hands. In less than half an hour, they say to themselves: “Well, we’ve filled up. We are going again.” It was just having to suck it up and do it for at least two weeks. It was tough, but I absolutely loved the sequence, and it was totally worth it. “
