Thanks to this award, Angela Bassett becomes the first actress to receive a major distinction for a film produced by Marvel Studios. Apart from her, the film was also nominated for the Golden Globes in the category Best song for the song “Lift me Up” by Rihanna. On the side of Marvel, the television series Wanda Vision was also nominated for the performances of Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen. But it was Queen Ramonda who was the only one to bring a reward to the stable led by Kevin Feige.

Coming back to the actress, it should be noted that 29 years ago, the 64-year-old actress was already awarded a Golden Globe in the category Best Actress in a Comedy For the movie Tina. She could rely on this performance to aim for an Oscar. Which would be another novelty for Marvel.
