THE UNAVOIDABLE
Oussekine – Wednesday, May 11
Third original French production on the Disney+ platform after Week-end Family and Para//èles, the Oussekine mini-series looks back on the tragic events of the night of December 5 to 6, 1986 which led to the death of student Malik Oussekine (played on screen by Sayyid El Alami).
Presented at the end of the 12th edition of the Series Mania festival, this heartbreaking drama looks back on the facts and also focuses on the quest for truth and justice of the family of the deceased: his mother Aïcha, his brothers Ben Amar and Mohamed and his sisters Fatna and Sarah.
The four-part series is carried by a brilliant cast: Naidra Ayadi, Malek Lamraoui, Tewfik Jallab, Mouna Soualem and Hiam Abbass. Signed Antoine Chevrollier (Le Bureau des Légendes, Baron Noir), Oussekine will be available in full from May 11 on Disney+.
Obi-Wan Kenobi – Friday, May 27
This is a novelty not to be missed under any circumstances: more than fifteen years after the release of the third episode of the Star Wars saga in cinemas, Ewan McGregor is finally making his comeback in the role of the legendary Obi-Wan Kenobi. A real event eagerly awaited by all fans of the universe!
In this mini-series whose story takes place ten years after the highlights of Star Wars, episode III: Revenge of the Sith, the Jedi Master embarks on a crucial mission during which he will have to face former allies now become enemies and face the wrath of the Empire.
At his side, fans will be delighted to find Hayden Christensen in the mythical role of Darth Vader, but also Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse who play Owen and Beru Lars respectively. Among the new recruits: Rupert Friend, Kumail Nanjiani, Moses Ingram and Indira Varma. Discover the first two episodes of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series from May 27 on Disney+, before a weekly broadcast.

Aladdin – Friday, May 27
Make way for Prince Ali! An essential classic from the firm with big ears, the story of the famous prince of thieves was invited to dark rooms in 2019 in a live-action version by Guy Ritchie.
In her first major film role, Mena Massoud plays the young street boy who fell in love with Princess Jasmine, played here by Naomi Scott. Will Smith slips into the skin of the famous Genie, one of the public’s favorite Disney characters. The opportunity to hear him cover some of the unforgettable hits of the animated film, such as I am your best friend and Prince Aliin original version !
In VF, viewers will certainly recognize the voice of comedian Anthony Kavanagh. If you missed this film on the big screen, or if you want to see it again from the comfort of your sofa, Aladdin will be available exclusively for streaming from May 27 on Disney+.

Sneakerella, a revisited version of Charles Perrault’s famous tale, is worn by young talents Chosen Jacobs (It) and Lexi Underwood (Little Fires Everywhere).
Life & Beth – Wednesday, May 18
Directed, starring and produced by Amy Schumer (Inside Amy Schumer), Life & Beth follows the story of Beth, whose seemingly ideal life is turned upside down following an incident that forces her to come to terms with her past. This original series brings together Michael Cera (Juno), Susannah Flood (For the People) and Violet Young. Good news: the comedy has already been renewed for a season 2!
The Valet – Friday, May 20
When a star of the 7th art, Olivia, is surprised in the company of her lover, a married man, she asks her valet to pretend to be her boyfriend… American remake of the film The Double with Alice Taglioni, Daniel Auteuil and Gad Elmaleh, the delicious romantic comedy The Valet stars Samara Weaving, Eugenio Derbez and Max Greenfield.
Wu-Tang: An American Saga – Wednesday, May 25
