Fans of Keanu Reeves and baston are stamping their feet with impatience at the idea of discovering in the cinema the sequel to the adventures of the most deadly killer in cinema… John Wick aka Baba Yaga. San Diego Comic-Con was the opportunity for the film to unveil a new trailer that beats up in every sense of the word.

Whether on the big screen or in “real real life”, the path taken by John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is fraught with pitfalls. Initially planned for the month of May 2021, in the same way as Matrix Resurrections for that matter, John Wick: Chapter 4 will finally be released in theaters on March 24, 2023 in the United States and two days before in France, on March 22. The fourth episode of the adventures of Baba Yaga will therefore have been postponed for two long years. The fault lies with the health crisis that hit the world in 2020-2021 and an overloaded calendar due to multiple postponements. As a reminder, Matrix Resurrections was released in December 2021.
A highly lethal casting
We left John Wick in a very bad position at the end of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum following the betrayal of Winston, the manager of the Continental hotel. John Wick: Chapter 4, still directed by Chad Stahelski, resumes the hunt in the streets of New York, and places our killer against the crème de la crème of action cinema. Keanu Reeves will dance with Scott Adkins (Boyka: Only One Will Become Invincible, Expendables 2: Special Unit), Hiroyuki Sanada (Bullet Train, Mortal Kombat), Lance Reddick (Resident Evil – Netflix) and finally, as the icing on the cake, Donnie Yen (Ip Man, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story).
During the first trilogy, John Wick shared the screen, and excuse me, with Mark Dacascos (Crying Freeman, Pact of Wolves), Adrianne Palicki (GI Joe: Retaliation), Willem Dafoe (Aquaman, Platoon, Spider-Man), Ruby Rose (Resident Evil: Final Chapter, XXX: Return of Xander Cage) or even Halle Berry (Catwoman, Die Another Day, X-Men). Another fighter from Indonesian cinema got into the “ring” with the famous John Wick. It is Cecep Arif Rahman, of which you could appreciate the martial performance in The Raid 2: Berandal and of which the John Wick saga is the heiress in the West. The circle was then complete, while waiting to witness the much-desired arrival of Iko Uwais (The Raid: Redemption, The Raid 2: Berandal).
