In the promotional video you can see Hemsworth, who illustrates the ultra-futuristic themes and incredible experiences that will be lived at Expo 2020 in Dubai when it opens its doors to the world.
His Excellency Reem Al Hashimy, UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation and General Director of Expo 2020 Dubai, highlighted.
“We have partnered with Emirates to produce an exciting and daring campaign that we believe will resonate with audiences around the world and inspire them to come and experience Expo 2020 Dubai for themselves. The Dubai Expo 2020 will be one of the biggest must-see events in the world, in addition to the impressive marquee pavilions that immerse visitors in the topics of mobility, sustainability and opportunity, and the astonishing 191 country pavilions, there will also be an unforgettable celebration of music, art and culture with a packed entertainment program, unique culinary experiences and much more. It is becoming an event not to be missed ”.
For his part, Chris Hemsworth pointed out the importance of Expo 2020 in shaping a brighter future. “In 2019, I partnered with Emirates and Expo 2020 Dubai to help raise awareness of what a truly important event for the world is. For the directors of the Emirates company pointed out. “No doubt before anyone had heard of Covid-19 and where the Dubai Expo 2020 was still under construction, we teamed up with one of the world’s most famous movie stars, Chris Hemsworth, and created this commercial.

Notably, the announcement aims to convey the energizing spirit of innovation, creativity and the drive to create a better future – all key themes of the global event.
The campaign soundtrack was reworked, modified and reinterpreted by a 70-member orchestra and features a children’s choir, who play an important role throughout the ad, come from different cultures and origins, and highlight the role that they will act as leaders of tomorrow.
The promo was directed by director Robert Stromberg, and the graphics were brought to life by Oscar-winning visual effects and production company Moving Picture Company.
