Born This Way, my song and album, were inspired by Carl Bean, a gay black religious activist who preached, sung and wrote about being “Born This Way.” Notably his early work was in 1975, 11 years before I was born. Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta She was born in New York on March 28, 1986. Better known by her stage name Lady Gaga, studied at the Convent of the Sacred Heart school and attended for a short time the Tisch School of the Arts, belonging to the University of New York, until he dropped out of school to focus on his music career.
