Notes: Although his last appearance as the vampire hunter dates back to 2004 and the failure of TrinityWesley Snipes still seems attached to the series Blade. Coming soon to NBC with the TV series The Playerthe actor has just granted Deadline an interview in which he claims to have met with the leaders of Marvel while specifying: “We had a very productive and incredible meeting, and discussed a lot of things”. Wesley Snipes also adds that he doesn’t know “where Blade is on Marvel’s agenda at the moment”, even if the project “is still in the air”. As a reminder, several colleagues had recently relayed the information according to which “a series Blade“would soon arrive “on Netflix”. Anyway, Blade therefore seems well on its way to keeping its faithful interpreter even at Marvel Studios. And Wesley Snipes to bid by admitting “If we do not make Blade 4 (…) with Marvel, we will do something else.” For our part, we cross our fingers that the next adventures of the “daywalker” are closer to the jubilant and virtuoso segment of Del Toro than to that of David S. Goyer ! Below, a little dive into the romantic and gothic universe of Blade II.
The actor made a mixed comeback in 2014 in Expandables 3.
