No matter what happens with Ben Affleck – whether it’s a new movie or enjoying life as a newlywed – the Dogma the actor always makes time for his children. On Thursday, Ben, 50, escorted his and Jennifer Garnierson of, Samuel Affleck, at school. Ben, dressed in a light blue button-up shirt and blue pants, carried an iced coffee while he and Samuel took the morning walk. The 10-year-old looked lively in a green blazer and blue trousers as he carried his books in a fashionable messenger bag.

This walk comes two weeks after the two were spotted and following Ben’s Italian honeymoon with Jennifer Lopez. Ben held his son’s hand as they strolled through Santa Monica. Ben wore a blazer over a white shirt with cream colored pants for this little getaway. The sunglasses really channeled that Italian vibe, a very different feel to the “shaggy beard and iced coffee” vibe he had in those new photos. A few days before, Ben and Samuel had run some errands together.

J.Lo, 53, and Ben tied the knot in a lavish wedding on Aug. 19, exchanging vows at his sprawling Riceboro estate outside of Savannah, Georgia. The extravagant ceremony took place two months after the couple tied the knot in Las Vegas, a happy ending after a three-month engagement. Jen, in her On the JLo newsletter, reflected on the journey to this point and how this marriage helped heal some “old wounds” that were still there after the couple first broke up in 2004.

“When he saw me appear at the top of the stairs at that moment, it made absolute sense while still seeming incredibly hard to believe, like the best dream, where all you want is never to be. wake up,” Jennifer wrote. “I probably would have had many of the same thoughts if I hadn’t been concentrating so hard not to trip over my dress, but when I got close enough to see her face, it had the same wonderful meaning to me.
