An underwater epic as the director ofAbyss loves them so much and whose filming has logically marked the actors. Kate Winslet, for example, is totally invested, embarking on a freediving session of more than seven minutes.
In a recent interview with EmpireSam Worthington confided in the difficulty of reconciling apnea and motion capture. Constraints that the actor had to bear while he faced some fears. Quoted by Screeningthe interpreter of Jake Sully said:
It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. You face the restrictions of freediving, the constraints of underwater motion capture, and you try to pursue an emotional adventure while battling the natural fear of death.
