Apple TV+ plays it People: Idris Elba, Jennifer Aniston, Jony Ive

Only one novelty, but significant, since it is the very last series of Idris Elba, called hi-jack. This high octane thriller, allows you to follow in real time the seven hours of flight of a hijacked plane as it travels to London. Playing Sam Nelson, the actor plays an accomplished negotiator in the business world who will have to show ingenuity and cold blood to save the lives of passengers.

The series premiered this week in London, CIB Southbank. Alongside Idris Elba, we were able to see other members of the distribution such as Christine Adams, Eve Myles, Jasper Britton, Harry Michell, Aimée Kelly, Mohamed Elsandel or Ben Miles. On this occasion Apple publishes its traditional An Inside Look in order to begin to grasp a bit of the plot and see some footage from the series.

As for future programs, The Morning Show, the multiple award-winning series (Emmy, SAG and Critics Choice) will return for a third season on Wednesday, September 13 on Apple TV+. We can discover the first two episodes and find Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon there.

This week also took place on first -At Regency Bruin Theater– from the second season of the hit comedy The Afterparty ahead of its debut on Apple TV+ on July 12. Attendees included cast members Tiffany Haddish, Sam Richardson, Zoë Chao, John Cho, Paul Walter Hauser, Ken Jeong, Anna Konkle, Poppy Liu, Elizabeth Perkins, Jack Whitehall, Zach Woods and Vivian Wu.

In the meantime, Cupertino broadcasts the first trailer of the sports documentary Stephen Curry: Underrated which will arrive on July 21, 2023. Announced in October 2022, the film traces the career of this basketball star who has since become one of the most influential, dynamic and unexpected players in basketball history. It will join the other documentary They Call Me Magic on Earvin “Magic” Johnson.
