AnnaSophia Robb Praises Austin Butler’s ‘Dedicated’ Work In ‘Elvis’ – Nifey

Singing his praises. AnnaSophia Robb is “delighted” with the former Carrie’s Diary costar Austin Butlersuccess following the release of Elvis biopic.

I’m so thrilled for him,” said the Law actress, 28, told We Weekly exclusively on Thursday, August 11 during the 2nd Annual pop-up Fleuriste St-Germain in collaboration with Jameel Mohammad and Zoe Bradley. “He’s such a dedicated and focused actor and a kind person. So [he deserves] all accolades.

Robb, who starred opposite Butler, 30, on the CW series from 2013 to 2014, added that she wasn’t surprised to see so many people falling for him. “You know, when we met during Carrie’s notebookseveryone knew he was going to be a movie star,” Dr. Death said the star. “You don’t have a face like that and you’re not a movie star. But he, too, has the intelligence and the dedication and the kindness to really [shine].”

She continued, “It’s perfect for [the role of Elvis]but he is perfect not only because he looks [like him], he embodied it. I mean he spent two years of his life studying man and getting into his bones.

Although Butler may have been her on-screen love interest, Robb is set to marry her real-life leading man, Trevor Paul. ” He’s very nice. He’s a truly wonderful person,” she exclaimed of her fiancé, who popped the question in September 2021. “I’m thrilled [to marry him]. … I finished a movie and so I was working and now we’re planning the wedding and … I feel good.

“I think I’m mostly thrilled to have everyone in one place. It’s mostly like…it’s great to have all the people you love,” Robb continued. “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience, so I think I feel more honored to have the excuse of bringing everyone together.”

The Bridge of Terabithia The star revealed that she and Paul were planning a “medium sized” wedding so their respective families could come together and celebrate for the first time. “I really wanted to do something where all of our families could be together and just be classy and have a good time,” Robb said. “I think weddings are a really good way to – you’re dealing with an insane amount of decisions and a lot of different personalities, so it’s kind of a litmus test. There are a lot of different decisions you have to make with your partner.

One decision that came easy for the Colorado native was to team up with St-Germain for a signature cocktail on the big day. “The St-Germain was actually the first cocktail I ever drank in a bar,” she said. We at the New York pop-up. “We had a friend who owned a bar and he did, it was a St-Germain Spritz so it was champagne, St-Germain liqueur and lemon and I remember… it was the first cocktail of adult that I had and I always liked.

Regarding her personalized wedding glass, however, Robb joked, “We haven’t had it yet, so it’s in the works. Once I found it [the name]I will keep you informed.
