Actress Amy Adams has starred alongside many celebrities over the years. But there was one actor that Ella Adams admired so much that she couldn’t focus on a scene that she needed to do. So much so that the co-star had to leave the film set so Adams could finally focus.
Amy Adams revealed she’s always been ‘boy crazy’
Like most people, Adams isn’t shy about admiring other people he might find attractive. She has been candid about working with celebrities like Henry Cavill, who she found nice to watch, and having a crush on Leonardo DiCaprio before working with him. But this trait is nothing new to Adams, who shared that this has always been a part of her personality.
“I have worked with some of the most beautiful and charming men,” she told Elle. “I never stopped being a crazy boy. He was crazy about boys in kindergarten. I was always looking out for the boys. And she’s basically still the girl from kindergarten: ‘Oh, that’s cute, oooooh!’”
Her current husband, Darren Le Gallo, is already aware of her nature. But Adams claimed that her husband is not the jealous type.
“He’s been on the spot when I’m doing love scenes, and he never comes on set. He is not looking around,” she said. “He feels very comfortable, and that is really admirable. We trust. It is important. It is a rare and wonderful quality.”
Amy Adams’ co-star in ‘Miss Pettigrew’ had to leave the set because she kept admiring him
Adams had a starring role in the 2008 period film. Miss Pettigrew, where he acted alongside Frances McDormand and Lee Pace. Pace was cast as the Arrival star’s lover and made quite an impression on his on-screen romantic partner. But the impression was so strong that the director of the film finally had to remove Pace from the set.
“Lee wasn’t working that day so he was just resting. He’s 6’4, so he’s a lot of a boy, and he was wearing cowboy boots,” Adams recalled.
When pettigrew Director Bharat Nalluri caught Adams looking at Pace, Adams was beyond embarrassed by the incident.
“I was looking at him, because he painted a picture like that, and the director came over, and I was completely in this land of admiring Lee,” he continued. “And Bharat comes over and says, ‘Can you leave the set? Amy is distracted by your masculinity. He was mortified. But it’s also a lot of fun. She has such a zest for life. He is a very good actor. So that’s my enthusiasm for Lee Pace. I hope she’s not blushing. My boyfriend will understand. He knows who his girlfriend is.”
Amy Adams’ movie crush is someone she hasn’t worked with yet
Despite being celebrities, many stars have crushes on some of their fellow actors. Adams is no different. There is one actor in particular that Adams has yet to work with that he finds interesting.
“Colin Farrell is my cinematic crush,” Adams shared with W Magazine.
She claimed that one of the reasons she kept her crush on Farrell was because she hadn’t worked with him yet.
“So the fact that he hasn’t worked with Colin and really hasn’t spent a lot of time with him still allows him to be the perfect kind of working-class Irishman, and, like, really honest and funny, and I kind of have a complete vision. whose is he?” he added.
